Steve Nash surpasses Magic Johnson in Career Assists – Los Angeles Lakers – Video

Steve Nash, the 39-year-old point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, has reached an impressive milestone. In tonight’s relatively easy win against the Boston Celtics (BOS 99 – LAL 113), Nash surpassed Legend Magic Johnson in total career assists. Congrats Steve! You earned it!

For a veteran athlete who’s nearly forty years of age, he continues to break records left and right. He’s staying right there with the kids (the 20-something athletes). FYI: Male athletes aged 30+ are classified as “old” because the majority of players retire before they hit age 40. This rule only applies to sports, though.

In tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics, Steve Nash showcased why he’s one of the best facilitators in the league. He now ranks 4th overall in career assists. Not only is his hand-eye coordination excellent, but so is his peripheral vision.

Keep up the great work, Steve! Once a Laker, forever a Laker. I bleed purple and gold. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. this team.
