Apple to launch “iRadio” on June 10, 2013 at WWDC – Report

Two months after Twitter revealed its new music streaming service, Apple is scheduled to launch its OWN version of a music streaming service called “iRadio” on June 10, 2013.

Uh oh! Here comes some more competition for Pandora and Spotify!

iRadio will make its debut at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco from June 10-14th. Apple has finalized agreements with Universal Group Music as well as Warner Group Music to stream songs from the likes of Jay-Z, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, Flo Rida, Josh Groban, Paramore, and more. However, Apple is still negotiating contracts with Sony Music Entertainment.

I’m not too sure about this “iRadio”…

I guess I’m old fashioned because I much prefer Pandora over Spotify… which probably means that I won’t convert to iRadio anytime soon.
